Her daughter will be nine-years-old in less than three months, and it seems Katie Holmes still can't believe how fast her only child Suri Cruise is growing up.

Just a week after posting a precious picture comparing her and her little one's hands, the 36-year-old actress shared a sweet snap of the pair's feet.

'Happy Sunday!!!!!!!' the Batman Begins star captioned the black-and-white Instagram image.

In the barefoot shot, Katie's placing her right foot, complete with a fresh pedicure, next to Suri's left foot.

The touching photo follows one Katie shared last weekend of her daughter's hand resting on her own.

 'Growing up fast! Happy Saturday!' she captioned the sepia-toned snap.

Suri, Katie's only child from her marriage to Tom Cruise, has grown up in the public eye and is rarely away from her mother.

Last summer, the pair relocated from Manhattan to Los Angeles after several years in New York.

It was reported that Katie felt California was a better place for Suri to grow up and would allow her to be closer to her father whose main home is in Beverly Hills.

Insiders also revealed that the Dawson's Creek star thought LA was a better place to reinvigorate her career.

And it seems the coast to coast move has already paid off - Katie has a movie slated for release this year.

She stars alongside Helen Mirren and Ryan Reynolds in Woman In Gold, which tells the tale of a Jewish refugee takes on the government to recover artwork she believes rightfully belongs to her family.

But her most important role remains that of mother.  

Last year, she told People magazine: 'You do the best you can. Some days you feel really good about yourself and some days you don't.

'Am I enough? Am I doing enough? Have I seen her enough? she says she asks herself. 

Adding: 'Guess what? You're not enough, she hasn't seen you enough, you're horrible: That's how it can feel sometimes.'

 But she said: 'I'm learning every day, and I have been since the minute I became a mom.'
