Doctor at centre of Lance Armstrong scandal denies doping and exclusively tells Al Jazeera he was “convenient target”.
In an exclusive interview, doctor Michele Ferrari tells Al Jazeera’s Lee Wellings he did not dope shamed cyclist Lance Armstrong.
Ferrari was named 480 times in the US Anti-Doping Agency’s devastating report on the Armstrong case earlier this year, and was handed a lifetime ban by the agency.
However, with Lance Armstrong never failing a single doping test, the doctor plans to take legal action.
