She's a busy actress and mother-of-two with a jam-packed schedule to keep.

So it's little wonder Jane Krakowski looked in need of a few hours sleep as she stepped out in New York City on Wednesday.

The 44-year-old star looked more than a little sleepy as she ran errands in Manhattan, while picking up a large coffee to help her through the day.

Evidently in need of a caffeine pick me up, the 30 Rock actress opted for a low-key ensemble as she went about her day.

Jane wore her hair straight around her shoulders, and seemed to be in great spirits as she headed out for the day, smiling happily as she strolled along the street.

The actress was making a rare appearance without her young son Bennett, whom she has with her husband, English fashion designer Robert Godley.

Jane tied the knot with the sartorial expert in 2010 after dating for just over a year, and at the time she admitted to having a thing for English men.

She said: 'He knew I had a thing for English men, and he knew I needed to be with a good guy. And that’s what I met and fell in love with.’

The actress has become best known in recent years for her role in the hit comedy 30 Rock starring as Jenna Maroney.

Created by US comedian Tina Fey, the show, which first aired in 2006 had its final episode last month.

Speaking last year, she said: 'It's very bittersweet. It's been those kind of days at work where everyone's noticing a tear in someone's eyes, and we all just have to make no eye contact whatsoever. I’ve been going through the halls like, 'Nobody look at me. I'm going to lose it!'
